​I have a new artwork titled "Plant Stand" featured in the exhibition 'Glasshouse' programmed by Kari Stewart for Glasgow International 2018.
The artwork is situated within the foliage in the Kibble Palace, Glasgow Botanic Gardens. It, and other artworks by Erica Eyres, Carla Scott Fullerton, Conor Kelly, Garnet McCulloch, Dan Monks, Kari Stewart, and Hirofumi Suda are on view at the Glasgow Botanic Gardens through 7 May 2018 from 10am-6pm daily.

Levi Hanes presents a new series of works with underlying themes of aspiration, utility, domestication and the absurd. The works explore the exhibition format and its impact on the act of viewing objects and art.

Starting with the idea of the ‘group show’, the exhibition plays with ideas of authenticity, the artist’s ‘signature style’ and proper exhibition formality. Subtly working with the format of the show and how the viewer receives it, the artworks draw on the history of their mediums in a self-reflective manner with playful nods to domestic furniture both in the interplay of art as useful object and the useful object made useless by intervention of the artist.

Fritz Bornstück's ENTER THE SPACE takes something traditional yet almost forgotten from the world of the web: the Startpage/Welcomepage – whatever you may want to call it. His intervention in the.SPACE's structure is not one, but a huge amount of starting pages, all promising: Enter the Space! Because of Bornstück, reaching the actual website of the.SPACE is made almost impossible – instead, the visitor gets drawn into Fritz Bornstücks, coloful, chaotic internet-clicking-adventure.
